Tips for Making Your Swimwear Last Longer This Summer!

Help your favorite swimwear keep it's colour and elasticity.

Chlorine and salt water breaks down the fabric fibers and causes colours to run, making for a washed out and sagging swimwear - here are some tips to make yours last longer.
  1. You can start by pre-treating a new swimsuit by soaking it for 20-30 mins in cold water with a couple of tablespoons of vinegar.
  2. Rinse in cool water after every use to take off any residue of chlorine and salt.
  3. Allow swimwear to dry after use out of direct sunlight to avoid bleaching.
  4. Once a month (or less if you’re not using them regularly), soak swimwear in a tub of luke warm water + a couple of table spoons of vinega
  5. Lastly - rotating your swimwear also gives the fibres a chance to snap back into space, so your suits will last for more wears than if you’re using the same ones daily back-to-back.
