Help your favorite swimwear keep it's colour and elasticity.
Chlorine and salt water breaks down the fabric fibers and causes colours to run, making for a washed out and sagging swimwear - here are some tips to make yours last longer.
- You can start by pre-treating a new swimsuit by soaking it for 20-30 mins in cold water with a couple of tablespoons of vinegar.
- Rinse in cool water after every use to take off any residue of chlorine and salt.
- Allow swimwear to dry after use out of direct sunlight to avoid bleaching.
- Once a month (or less if you’re not using them regularly), soak swimwear in a tub of luke warm water + a couple of table spoons of vinega
- Lastly - rotating your swimwear also gives the fibres a chance to snap back into space, so your suits will last for more wears than if you’re using the same ones daily back-to-back.
